RB-1 disconnect switches provide highly dependable operation for sectionalizing or isolating service. The RB-1 is designed for isolating power circuit breakers, sectionalizing transmission lines and opening primaries of transformer banks. The RB-1 switch demonstrates complete ice-breaking action. The silver surfaced stationary contacts minimize wear and lengthen the life of the contact by providing constant pressure. The contact shoes are full-floating to allow for variations in blade alignment and to provide self-adjustment. The blade swipes clean with every operation for repeatable, dependable performance. The RB-1 disconnect switch is available in voltage ratings from 15kV through 115kV for currents from 600 through 1200 amperes. |
